Campaign for SPCA

These SPCA ads were conceived for an advertising campaign to educate the public about responsibilities and care. As part of the final year assignment to graduate with a Diploma in Graphic Design (Advertising Major), I had to interview the veterinary staff and write to various international animal welfare accociations and animal rights group (including PETA, Green Peace, AWA, American Humane, ASPCA, RSPCA in United Kingdom, SPCA in New Zealand) to obtain their media kit. I also wrote the creative rationale and the media proposal on top of the guidelines for use of the campaign's logo and signatures.

I love working on public service projects. They give me the opportunity to learn about issues that are important to the environment. The education I received out of this project is invaluable and enriching for my personal growth.

This logo was designed for the campaign. The concept behind the campaign is "loving your pets as you would for your family and partner". Green was chosen as the colour represents friendliness to the environment.

Press ad: "Spare a thought and help spare a life."
Press ad: "You should show the same consideration to animals in the streets."
Magazine ad: "When the master moved, his best friend was left to find his own shelter."
Magazine ad: "Are you just as qualified in looking after your pet?"

Poster ad: "Puppylove should last forever."
Bus ads: "Every mating season, hundreds of unneutered animals ended on this route."
